Snow!

It seems the NWS forecast of "light snow mixed with rain" for this afternoon and evening was slightly erroneous -- I was nearly knocked off my feet by the wind, snow, and hail as I was coming back from lunch.

When did you check the forecast? It's been "strong winds and heavy snow" all day that I've checked for Southern Worcester County anyway...

Southern New Haven County was showing mixed snow/rain all afternoon until it started to blizzard. Of course, now I show the current weather to be "fog", and although what is outside closely resembles fog, I do not believe it to be so.

Your flowers obviously didn't hear Mr. Groundhog's prediction for 6 more weeks of winter. In fact, I think it may end up being longer than that.

Which is unfortunate, really, since I was hoping Spring might arrive at some point so we can start building our house.

And it's quite a storm out here, too... There's so much wind that the snow is going almost parallel to the ground. I'm not looking forward to driving home in this.

Yeah, my office is closing at 1530, but has asked for volunteers to cover the phones until 1700. I'm thinking I'll take that offer -- I don't want to go driving at the peak of this.

I was under the impression that throughout the evening, it would get getting worse the longer you waited... Although things may be different down there.

Its getting better all the time here, and RADAR indicate it'll be past New Haven in a few hours.

I wouldnt call what's falling here in Auburn "snow", I think "airborne slush" is the more appropriate term.

Norwood and Mansfield pretty much have the same projectiles to deal with.
