The Parker Application

Worked toward the launch of V5 at work today. Adam had to stay late to fix some of the errors on the site. As a result I had to take a bus to get home by 1845. I made it just in time to meet Devan at my house, where she filled out a Checkerboard application and left it with me to give to Checkerboard. While she was here, we talked quite a bit. She expounded at great length on her thought that I should get a license, and the freedom it had imparted upon her. I was pleased that she was so talkative. I found it was difficult to talk to her about my life as I have been so used to listening to her. The most significant thing she mentioned what her thought that I didn't like the telephone. She said I sounded uncomfortable on it. I couldn't immediately think of a good reason for that observation. She certainly gave me a great deal to think about.
