Valentine's Day

Nothing terribly great happened today, but I considered it a very good day. First off, I slept rather late, which was very pleasing. After that I went to school, where I managed to run into Andrea as she was coming off of lunch. We sat in the wedge and talked for nearly an hour. It was a very happy thing. We talked about a number of things, but what stands out most to me is the game we played matching words to card company names as if the names were acronyms. We had a jolly time with that. I invited her to come see the play with me tonight, but she refused. After that, I milled about a bit, and then ran across her again as she went to her advisor meeting. We didn't talk much at that meeting. After she went to her advisor I saw Brian and talked with him about the Phaser a bit, and how he's on the list of grad students to get a full-boat next year. After talking with Brian I went to the Events meeting, where we discussed Crossfire II. At the end of the meeting, Randy offered me a single in the suite he will be in next year in Founders. I was very pleased. After the events meeting, I went to the CC to have dinner, and then ambushed Andrea on her way out of Morgan Commons. I reiterated that she should come to the play with me tonight, and still she refused. After a bit I had to run off to get to the GDC Workshop tonight. However, I continued to bother her over AIM from the computer lab. Still she refused, and ulimately I was forced to go to the play with my two tickets and no partner. However, when I reached the door, I found Centa, who had been seperated from her family and without a ticket, so I gave her mine to get her into the show, and then went to sit with Shep and Irma and Steve et al. for the show. The place was Alice in Wonderland, but it had elements of both books in it. I thought it was extremely good, but I have always been partial to the story. To end the night off, when I returned home my PS2 was waiting for me. Today went very, very well.
