IQP Down

It is now official on the registrar's books. My IQP has been deleted. I made it to the registrar's office just moments before it closed, and had my form processed. I immediately ran back to Fuller for an MQP meeting with Professor Ward. I'm rather worried about the fate of my MQP at this point, but Pete is working with me on the physics engine now, so all should be well with it.

I'm finally going to be starting my GDC Development team. At the next General Assembly I announce it. It's going to be a wargaming dev team. I hope to make our first project a Level 1 rules implementation of BattleTech or BattleSpace. I need to decide on a name for the team. Since most of wargaming is done on hex maps, I've been thinking about playing the word hex for sex, such as "Safe Hex" or "Guns and Hex", but I think I may need to cut the poor jokes. Naomi came to the exec meeting tonight to present a Leadership workshop that WPI is sponsoring. Its Wendnesdays at 1800, so I'd need to change plans with Dad to attend, but I think I will anyways.

I've also been thinking of running for vice president of the GDC in the upcoming election. I really don't think Jesse is doing a good job as VP, and I think I could do a better job. I just worry that I might rock the boat too much for peoples liking. I'd hate to alienate the existing officers and execs, many of whom are sure to be reelected.

I called Lonna's today. It turns out she's in the hospital. I couldn't find out what for, for her father seemed rather agitated. He said she'd be fine, and he'd tell her I called. I really hope she's OK.
