Alas, today was rather dull, hanging out in Worcester, dealing with leftovers, etc, etc. Since I have no good comments on my day to share, I thought I'd post a bit of Star Trek Insight I had a while back.

Each Star Trek Film has a moral, a message if you will. I was thinking about them, and came up with this list:

Star Trek: The Motion Picture: Special Effects are overrated.
Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan: The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.
Star Trek III: The Search For Spock: The needs of the one outweigh the needs of the many.
Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home: Save the Whales.
Star Trek V: The Final Frontier: God is Dead (and Photons work on Dieties).
Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country: Diplomacy is hard; shooting stuff is easy.
Star Trek VII: Generations: We have limited time on this mortal coil.
Star Trek VIII: First Contact: Warriors make history in wartime, but drunkards make history in peacetime.
Star Trek IX: Insurrection: You can never have enough warp cores.
Star Trek X: Nemesis: Always back up your Data.

I'm not sure that those really count as spoilers, except for maybe on ST V…

X is more of a spoiler if you consider the capitalization . Of course, the overall capitalization is inconsistent, so perhaps it would be hard to notice that.
