The Mission To Newton

So Sunday was dominated by a trip to see Josh and Ennis in Newton. I hung out with pezzonovante for a few hours leading up to our departure, then we went to pick up Caroline (whom I hadn't seen in quite a while), possessor of The Directions, and we took off down Route 9. We were the first on the scene in Newton, and had a charming time as people from other classes arrived and we discussed the five year gulf since many of us had last met. Afterwards, I took pezzonovante and Carrie and blitzed back up Route 90, dropped off pezzonovante, dropped off Carrie, picked up my laundry, pet the dog, and at 2202 began the voyage back to Branford.

On the way back to Branford I remembered that my car had a cruise control option I had never bothered to figure out how to use, so I played with that for the first half-hour of 395, but after getting it working I used it the rest of the trip. It is very convient for making sure I remain out of danger of getting a ticket and still making progress toward my destination at best speed. I like it.

Current Mood: calm calm
