[PUBLIC] I Was Kinda Proud Of This One

From a coworker:

"[bronzite's] file describes him as one part business, three parts technical, but this evaluation ignore the other strengths he brings to the company. He is, in addition, at least one part scout, one part engineer, one part scholar, and one part secret agent. His recruitment should be viewed as fortuitous, and his retainment essential."

That made me feel good.

Great, I also thanks to this had the tune "Secret Agentman" run through my head.

Wow, that's pretty awesome! That bit about "retainment essential" seems like it'd make a good argument for asking for a raise.

I probably could, but I'm actually satisfied with how I'm compensated now, and using my political capital to take days off when I want them is more valuable to me than getting more money.

Ah, of course-- when faced with a time versus money choice, I tend to go with time as well.
