[PUBLIC] Our Flag Flies High Over Our New Headquarters

Yesterday, with the help of pezzonovante, I move into my new apartment on Dover Street. Right now its awash in boxes, cardboard, and powertools, but it is quickly shaping up to be a place to live. The move went so easily, in fact, that it wasn't until nearly 2100 that we discovered the glitch for this mission.

When I shopped at IKEA, I ordered 2 futons for my new apartment, with the intent of one being my couch and one being my interim bed. pezzonovante and I went about assembling one of these last night, only to discover that I had, in fact, purchased the correct mattress and cover, but the wrong frame. Fortunately, the frame ended up being larger than the mattress, so its functional if funny-looking, but its left me with something of a problem. I can either return the unused frame, and one set of mattresses and covers, and buy a frame that I wanted and a mattress that fits what I have, or I can go for broke and simply buy two new frames and two new mattresses, avoid the headaches of trying to return equipment, and have enough seating to have a nice party at my apartment.

The construction phase of my move-in will hopefully be completed by Sunday, which is currently planned to be the second wave of physical moving from my old residence, and hopefully the final one. At present, I need to determine a good way to dispose of several very over-sized cardboard boxes so that once my living room is no longer a construction yard, it can begin serving its primary function.
