[PUBLIC] DS Library

Alright, so as of a few hours ago, I am a Nintendo DS owner. I have exactly zero games in my library. Tomorrow morning, bright and early, I'm off to Best Buy and Gamestop to rectify this oversight. Steel Horizons and Panzer Tactics are on my list (although I understand I'm unlikely to find either in a realspace retailer), but I need to know what else should be. So, here's your chance to chime in; what are the must-haves for the DS?

You seem to like tactical games... in which case, perhaps the DS Advance Wars game would be worth looking at?

I don't think I could own a DS without testing my metal against Meteos.

And the squeaky fanboi in me would require the DS Zelda title.

Meh, that was me.

I would also be unable to stave off my cravings for the joyful perversity of Metroid Prime Pinball.

I'd call the Castlevanias must-haves if you liked Symphony of the Night at all.

Front Mission is a classic SRPG, Revenant Wings was uncomplicated but fun, likewise Lost Magic. I've yet to really like any of the others, but I heard good things about Luminous Arc.

Disney Meteos is a much better game than Meteos, but is all Disneyed. Your call on that one.

Phantom Hourglass ranges, frequently, from brilliant to idiotic. Still quite fun!

Geometry Wars: Galaxies is a great game for five-minute bursts.

If you plan to travel frequently (just a wild guess) with the DS, I highly recommend getting an R4DS --- it's a Transflash-based multi-game cart. Not having to carry 20-odd games around is priceless, and the R4s go for $30 or so.

Finally, http://www.gamerankings.com/itemrankings/simpleratings.asp is extremely accurate.

At this point I think I've played nearly every US released title --- DSes are quite popular at MS --- if you give me a more specific target (i.e. games suitable for killing time in five-minute blocks ;), I can elaborate.
