statistically, there are less than 9 named "Thomas Traina". Tom ranks as the #10 name, but Traina is down near 20,000.

First and last name aren't independent probabilities. If your last name is Vespucci, the chance of your first name being Sandeep drops dramatically, while the chance of your first name being Guido rises dramatically. So unless your name is Sandeep Vespucci, multiplying the probabilities will result in a lower-than-actual number.

Augusta is bloody uncommon because it's a bastardization of Auguste. If you assume independent probabilities, there are only ~3 people with my name.

Hurray for the inane nitpick! How else would we know it was you? Of course, because I didn't say exactly X people have my name, I stand by my original statement, for arbitrary values of "something like" :-P
