Five Segments

Five segments this week. Two of them today, the fifth anniversary of 9/11. At H-Hour +5 Years, I was in a 767 flying through fog so thick over Chicago that I couldn't see the wingtips. Southwest Airlines, too. Great annoyance. More annoyance, I'm flying into Philadelphia on Friday, via US Airways (Operated by United) relayed through Chicago. I love the airline industry. What's the point of servicing a city when you need to have another airline bounce your passengers through their hub to get to yours? Oh well, at least there are no connections on my flight home.

I don't remember the last time I managed to fly anywhere without a stopover... it might have been the frist time I went to Europe when I was 14... yeah, I think so.
