Doom

Last night I went into Hyannis to see Doom. It wasn't as good as a lot of other video game movies, and I wouldn't recommend it for the theatre, as it doesn't seem like it'll lose anything if its on a smaller screen. I have no idea, though, how they spent 80 million dollars on the movie.

The story had a number of the old plot devices, but they were rearranged extremely oddly. The Gates, for example, now goes back to Earth, and Earth doesn't have Earth-Mars spaceflight capability. It was a little disappointing.

How much of the movie actually forced you to "GET BEHIND THE GAME" and see things in FPS view?

One section that's about 7 minutes long at the climax of the movie. Its actually quite well-done, except for a few over-the-top zombie shots.

Note: this is chris Bass (lanky). There is something i want you to check on my lj before it becomes presented. You'll know when you see it. Can you make any suggestions/is it a good idea to post it? thank you.

PS. this was the only way i could think of doing this.
