Grand Am

So this week's car is a Pontiac Grand Am, 6-cylinder version. In size and shape (if not color), it closely resembles pezzonovante's old car (for those of you for whom that statement is meaningful). It also has a wee bit of pickup. I have (unintentionally) squealed the tires on it. Twice. Once in reverse. On the plus side, it is very responsive and handles quite well. On the down side, it reeks of the cigarette smoke of a prior renter.

In other news, I have become horribly addicted to Pirates of the Spanish Main, a Constructible Strategy Game from WizKids. I'm not so much on playing the game -- although it is very fun -- but I find I get at least as much enjoyment building the miniatures, which are constructed from plastic cards that come in CCG-style booster packs and are punched out and assembled to form the minatures. Each pack contains two ships and goes for about $4 (although if anybody's interested in getting them cheaper, I can hook you up). I've assembled a fleet of 20 vessels of varying size at this point, half of which are in Medfield and the other half of which adorn the top of my monitor at work in Illinois.

I too have tiny plastic ships that need to blow up other plastic ships.

Ah yes, the infamous tactics of Noble "Read Me Like A Book" Resonance. I'm shaking in my book.
