Campaign 2005-1

Every now and again, the stars, books, and my own motivations align sufficiently for me to want to run an RPG. One of these times has just popped up, so I'm looking for interested players. I'm aiming for a biweekly session, probably starting on one of the first two weekends in July. Session would be Friday evening, Saturday afternoon, Saturday evening, or Sunday afternoon, depending on what player availability is. The game I have in mind will probably run in the D&D engine (for those of you who hate 3rd Ed, 3.5, or D&D in General, take note), and run 4-6 sessions (until roughly the start of college classes, possibly a bit past). Location of the run will depend heavily on player selection, too, but will be somewhere in Massachusetts, either Worcester or some point East. I'm targetting a group of 2-6 players, so if you want in, let me know.

PS: This will be unrelated to Campaign 2004-1 because A) the story is totally unrelated and B) taranhero makes psycho characters I never want anything to do with again.

I bought LSN while I was in Stamford last week... I'm still working on campaign missions, but I'd be willing to engage in a friendly game some time. :)

Awesome. Some of those campaign missions are really hard, especially the later Spawn scenarios.

Paladins and Druids are the best.

You didn't have a Paladin and a Druid. You had a Blackguard and a Blighter.

And particularly destructive ones at that.

"I throw a fireball into the rigging."
"You realize you're grappled to that ship, right?"
"*giggle*"

Just goes to show, you should never accept a chaotic-neutral gnome into your party. Things like this are bound to happen.

Unsurprisingly, I'm interested in playing.

Inviting special guest NPC Rashaelle Raptros - a high level Mindcrafter who tries to lure players into the desert to die.

Given initial responses (or lack thereof), that seems rather unlikely -- besides its only a few hours.

It sounds interesting... Keep me posted, although I may have to decline depending on time and location. Once every two weeks sounds plausible though.

If our house gets completed while you're still running it, I'll offer it as a location to run things... But completion is still probably a month or two out, at least.
