Dancing Around The Issue

Well, Jim didn't give me my project back today, so I didn't do much for 12 hours at work. After work I got the gift certificate Rach asked me to pick up for her. Adam and I stopped at the Greendale Mall and got him a copy of FFVII. He seemed excited. I let him borrow my Playstation to play it. Then he went off to pick up his dog and go see Devan. I decided to tempt fate, so I took a walk up to Montclair. I didn't run into the two, but I did come across Devan's father, who was walking Nova. Curiously, although I passed within four feet of the dog, it didn't flip out. Maybe it likes me :-). Oh well. After that I walked to WPI, but nobody I knew was there; I came home. And that brings me to now, when I am writing my log entry for the day. Although I'm tempted to go off on another Devan/Adam rant, I shouldn't. While I was walking I did a lot of thinking about why I'm so disquieted about Miss Parker. I guess there's the impending confrontation I never want to have, but I hate to think that's all. I think I'm finally reaching the point where I could make peace with myself about the issue, and then try to do the same with her. I have to accept that I am very attracted to her, that there isn't much that would change that, and I can learn to not act on those feelings. Once I can do that, I will have the tools to face the oncoming confrontation, and I can finally end the siege. This is terribly exciting.
